What is Sound Therapy?
Sound therapy is a therapeutic practice that uses sound vibrations to promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

It encompasses various techniques, such as sound massages using a Tibetan singing bowl and/or tuning forks, meditation and sound baths.
What are the benefits?
Sound healing offers a range of benefits, including stress reduction, relaxation, improved mood, enhanced focus and heightened spiritual awareness.
It has also been linked to improved sleep quality and immune function.
How does sound healing work?
Sound healing works by utilizing the vibrational frequencies of sound to resonate with the body’s natural energy centers, known as chakras, promoting balance and harmony.

This process helps release tension, clear blockages, and facilitate healing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
Why should you try it?
Why not give it a go and see whether you like it? As well as relaxing the mind and body, sound therapy can break through blocks in the body, such as stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, sleep problems and pain.

People who suffer from chronic pain, sleeplessness, depression or anxiety might benefit from this. Sessions usually lead to a reduction in anxiety, stress and depressive feelings.

Sound baths, usually held in a group setting, are utilized to decrease stress, alleviate body tension and calm the mind, among other benefits. A deeper level of relaxation is achieved as a result, along with the related health advantages.
Additionally, the therapeutic power of sound vibrations may be used in sound baths, which can remove toxins throughout the body, unblock and reroute energy and balance the hemispheres of the brain
What to expect during a sound massage?
The session lasts 60 minutes. At the beginning of the session, you will be asked confidential questions about your health.

During the session, you will remain fully clothed, lying on the mat or massage table, and the Tibetan bowls will be played and moved around your body.

The deep sound and subtle vibrations produced by the Tibetan singing bowls will gently massage your body and bring you to a state of deep relaxation. You can connect to a deeper, calmer place within yourself and experience mental clarity.
What to expect during a sound bath?
You may choose to have a sound bath for 30 or 60 minutes.

During a sound bath, you lie down comfortably. You will then focus on your breathing for a few minutes to relax, then different instruments like Tibetan bowls, tuning forks and chimes will be used to produce different sounds and vibrations.

The sounds invade your mind and body and take you into a deeper state of consciousness, like during meditation. In fact, you disconnect from external stimuli and enter a state of inner peace and harmony.
To prepare for the session:
Ideally, your session should be held at least 2-3 hours after a meal.
Sound massage uses water inside the cells to distribute vibrations, so make sure you hydrate well on the day of the session by drinking plenty of water before and after the massage.

Wear comfortable clothes - long, comfortable, close-fitting pants such as leggings or jogging pants (without metal buckles), a long-sleeved shirt and socks for massage.
